Trolley Park Village is a proposed 48-unit multi-family dwelling project in Charlton Massachusetts. The community will be specifically designed to meet the needs of blue-collar workers and their families, who need a safe, healthy, and affordable place to live. The Project will be located on 22.6-acres a part of which was a “Trolley Park” once owned by the Worcester and Southbridge Street Railway system.

The Project will follow the approach taken in the Massachusetts Climate Ready Housing Program. “Green and Healthy” building methods will be used throughout. Green building means: GBC Certification, state of the art construction methods, low VOC materials, efficient heating, and cooling systems, use of Energy Star® appliances, and high insulation values. The Project is envisioned to eventually be a “net zero-energy” community.
